Human Rights A.D.S India — Action, Development and Safeguarding — is a non-political, non-profit organisation based in Barasat, Kolkata, dedicated to protecting human rights and empowering vulnerable communities. Guided by the core principles of justice, equality, and compassion, our mission is to uplift individuals who lack access to basic rights, opportunities, and social protection.
We bring together a passionate team of volunteers, legal experts, healthcare professionals, educators, and social workers who share a collective vision of building a just and inclusive society. Through grassroots initiatives across Bengal, we provide essential services in child protection, women’s development, healthcare, legal aid, education, and environmental sustainability.
Our work focuses on strengthening communities through awareness, advocacy, and direct support, ensuring that every person—regardless of their background—can live with dignity, safety, and equal opportunity. Our Programme
Independence Day
Our Independence Day celebrations honored freedom’s spirit through vibrant cultural programs. Dance performances showcased India’s diversity, while the recitation competition featured patriotic poetry about social justice.
International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day celebrated women’s strength and achievements through inspiring programs. Musical performances by local women artists opened the event, followed by a recitation competition sharing empowerment stories.
